I talk a lot about how mindset is the “the game changer”.
We are all governed by our minds, whether we are aware of it or not. Many people drift along bouncing from one negative experience to another, simply hoping and wishing for things to change.
But did you know that if you alter your mindset, you in turn, alter your entire life? Your mind is set by a number of things; your beliefs, values, habits, perception and self identity.
In order to experience positive lasting change, YOU must be the Game Changer! It all starts in your mind. ALL transformation comes from within.
Before you jump into goal setting and action mode now we are in January, here are 5 ways to ensure YOU are the Game Changer in 2021:
Up-level your thinking. Monitor your self-talk and commit to changing the negative chatter and BS you tell yourself. You must choose new empowering thoughts. Your current life is a result of the stories and beliefs you hold onto in your mind. In order to see and feel long term different results, your internal dialogue must shift and change. Thanks to neuroplasticity, changing the way you think is possible for everyone, no matter your age.
Form habits that support your success. Know what you need to do daily (the minimum) and break it down into simple habits. The key to habit forming is consistency, it takes an average of 21 days to form a pattern in the mind, and 66 days to form a embed a new habit. Focus on just one or two habits at a time.
Surround yourself with like minded people. If you have big goals or you are focusing on your personal development this year, be mindful of who you are giving your time to, and what energy you are absorbing from them. Avoid the doubters and naysayers. Don’t be afraid to find your tribe, they are out there waiting for you! This was one of the driving factors as to why I created the Warrior Academy.
Release what’s holding you back. Ask yourself if you were able to let go of a particular fear you have, such as the fear of judgment, fear of success, fear of failure, what would you do in your life? How different would you feel? If you have the knowledge and tools to work through release techniques, don’t wait a moment more, do the life changing work. If you know deep down something is holding you back, but you don’t know how you begin to release it and free yourself, do what it takes to make it happen by looking outside of yourself for support and invest in your future.
Let go of the idea that you have full control. You must be open to the fact that the road ahead may take a different turn to the one you expected. Trust the process, trust that as you align yourself to your desired outcome, the universe will have the divine route planned for you. It may be different to the one you expected or hoped for, and that’s OK. You’ll be able to connect the dots looking back!
