Help Other People Everyday
Updated: Oct 7, 2022
I’m sure you’ll agree there’s a warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you help someone or support them in some way! It may e as simple as sending a text saying you’re thinking of them, offering to pick up some shopping whilst you’re out or sending a surprise cupcake round to a friends house. This is so beneficial to do when you are feeling a little lo
w yourself or struggling with all things lockdown related. When you take the emphasis of yourself and your problems and think about one thing you can do to help someone else, it takes your mind to a new place. You’re focusing your attention on something positive, that in itself can help to lift your mood. It instantly gives you a hit of feel good endorphins – it feels good to give! It doesn’t have to cost you a penny, it may be your time or even a tag in a motivational post on social media. If you’re home schooling this is a great exercise to share with your children and get them involved. You really can’t teach them this stuff too young! I believe one of the reasons why I have so much energy and focus despite having 10 month old twins and working most evenings, plus from home during the week days, is through the coaching and what I do. Helping and supporting other fires me up and leaves me feeling energised! It enables me to be more for others, and do more for others. Try it yourself for 5 days – Let friends know! Get the kids involved! You can join the Awaken the Warrior Within free Facebook group for ideas and support the week of 18th January. Join the Awaken the Warrior Within Group Here
