Why you don’t have to get up at 5AM to be successful!

Updated: Nov 30, 2021

I'm sure many of you have heard about the infamous 5AM club, that in order to be successful, you have to be a part of it. I was once part of that club, I've got the book, all of the different videos, courses, and mindset hacks for that 5Am stuff. I did felt great doing it. I used to literally set my alarm at 5AM, have a 1hr routine where I would do my cards, journal, visualizations. I then go to the gym, read 5 pages of a book every day till I became pregnant and couldn't keep up with the routine!

If you're ever in a place where you think you're not a morning person, or you need a mindset shift, these are some of the things you can do to how actually do it, and not just do it but how to also be happy while doing it, whilst growing your business!

Do what works for you. It doesn't mean you have to wait till you find the time; keep in mind that nothing changes if nothing changes. Recognize what works for you. What makes you tick? What inspires, motivates, inspires, uplifts, and energizes you? What is it that you do that makes it work for you? Some of my clients read, some love to journal, exercise, yoga, and watching or listening something motivational. Play around what works for you.

Set an intention. The key thing is to set an intention that no matter what, do those one or two things that will help you raise up the alignment ladder. Whether you've got the time in morning or lunch time, do it whenever works for you! Find something that works for you and commit to doing it. Don't wait until it finds you! Once you've found what works for you, it will help you to shift that alignment ladder which will then make you feel more yourself and on top of your wellbeing!

Spiritual cards. I go to one of those, do a fast shuffle, and pull what I like to refer to as a day's inspiration card! Doing something for you doesn't just depend on your thoughts, your health, your mental health, or you. I find that tuning in more to spiritual side and energy has transformed my life and business.

Listening to audiobooks and podcast on the go. On the go, I listen to audiobooks and podcasts and it makes me feel good because I'm doing something for myself.

Keeping a book in the bathroom. Yes, I keep a book in the bathroom. I'll read a page or a chapter, so then tends to be, I'll get through a couple of pages a day! Because if I didn't, I wouldn't have chance to read because I'm either with my children, family, and friends, or nurturing and growing a multi-positive business. I utilize the time while I'm in the bathroom and it works really well for me! You've got to really adopt with what works for you!

Going outdoors at least once a day. I make it a point to get outside at least once a day for a nice walk and to try just to be present in the moment, whether I'm alone, with my dog, or with my children—taking in the fresh air, and breathing.

Gratitude. It's become so embedded in me that I would write down everything every single day, including things, people, places, opportunities, and everything that I'm inviting in. It doesn't need to be something you already have. You can be grateful for what you're opening to, what you're willing in, what you're ready to feel. That is tapping into manifestation, law of attraction which is a really powerful tool.

If you've not got time to write it down, don't not do it! You have to adapt and do what works for you best. You have to commit to doing it, feeling it and embracing it.

Bringing your heart in coherence through breathing. It's simply, you breath in through your nose, take a conscious breath in, focus on your breathing, and envision that you're sending your breath down and exhale it out through your heart. This is called taking your brain and heart into coherence. It's about activating the connection between the two on a conscious and unconscious level while acknowledging your heart's electromagnetic energy. When you're channeling that through, you'll feel it. That is the most profound awakening for your intuition than you can begin to imagine. This is also a quick technique to shift if you're ever feeling stressed or overwhelmed.

What are you willing to commit to doing? What are you going to try for yourself?
